Village Info Egyházashollós

Small village close to the river Rába in the east of Körmend, on the main road no. 8. The village has been formed from the union of Egyházashollós and Hidashollós in 1937. First dokumentary mention of Hollós derives from the year 1221. The church has been built in the years between 1000 and 1300, renovated in 1997. The village is located in the planned Landscape Protection Area called Csörnöc-Herpenyő. Number of inhabitants: approx. 607.
